Pavilionism


A maquette of a pavillion that re­presents the place that memory occupies in the psychological inner space. It’s executed in the form of a simple set of squares.

It (100%/0%), takes (87.5%/12.5%), 21 pounds of (75%/25%), fresh (62.5%/37.5%), wholesome (50%/50%), cow's milk (37.5%/62.5%), to make (25%/75%), 1 pound of (12.5%/87.5%), butter (0%/100%)

A cook book containing one recipe with 16 ingredients. 16 students were each given one ingredient and made a section of 16 pages in the book.

Launch of B612


Wall decoration for the launch of a new fashion magazine 'B612' in SPRMRKT at the opening of laundry days. The theme and title for this first issue is 'Lovely Creatures'. In collaboration with Felicia Nitzsche.

Over See


Poster for Over See – Series of lectures about photography and graphic design. For each lecture there was a poster designed by different collaborations, always using the element of the light box in some way. This poster is a two-in-one. In collaboration with Timo Hofmeyer, Clare McNally and Hilde Meeus.

GRAy Magazine #2


2nd issue of GRAy, the school magazine for Rietveld Academie. This issue’s theme was Craftsmanship. Each spread is a photograph (of already reproduced material) made with a reprographic scanner. You could say that we composed the layout in real life with our hands instead of In­Design. In collaboration with Clare McNally and Risto Kalmre.

Daniel Buren



Poster & Invitation announcing a symposium on the work of the artist at the Stedelijk Museum. The design pays tribute to the work of Buren who is famous for always using standard 8.7cm wide stripes, in installations that are related to a specific site. The invitation is the striped poster packed to a roll, and sealed with hanging instructions. Collaboration with Timo Hofmeijer.

Handelsgeest

Art of Trade. Catalog for the exhibition which took place in the occasion of 50 years anniversary of the old wtc in Rotterdam. Tens of artists presented works in vitrines which were used to present trade. The design followed the building’s floor plan, and the route that had to be walked through it in order to watch the exhibition. The booklet around provides documentation of the entire project.
